Matt Greene is the Senior Manager of Supplier Diversity in Purchasing Supplier Development at Toyota Motor North America, Inc. (TMNA) in Saline, MI. He is responsible for engaging with key internal & external stakeholders to advance Toyota’s initiatives in supplier diversity. In developing strategies with his team, he regularly engages in the development & sourcing of diverse businesses. Matt works to advance supplier diversity through several leadership roles, including: Southern Region Minority Supplier Development Council (SRMSDC) Board Director, Women’s Business Enterprise Council South (WBEC South) Board Director, Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC) Corporate Communications Committee & In Fuse Committee, Automotive Industry Group (AIG) Member, as well as frequent speaking engagements throughout the National Supplier Development Council’s (NMSDC) and Women’s Business Enterprise National Council’s (WBENC) networks.
Matt has been with Toyota over 19 years and brings a wealth of experience in Purchasing and Supplier Diversity. Prior to his current role, he worked as Manager of TMNA Purchasing Seats & Soft Trim, where he led a team in procurement activities of seats for many of our key North American manufactured vehicles. Additionally, you may remember him previously worked as Manager of Supplier Diversity (2013-2016).
Involvement in community is very important to Matt. He actively volunteers at Cherry Street Mission in Toledo, OH. He also looks forward to once again coach youth sports soon.
