Jimmy TenBrink is the Chief Operating Officer of Gun Lake Investments. Jimmy has extensive experience in business and operational leadership roles, having previously served as president of RSI Manufacturing and Baker Engineering, as well as director of corporate business development and director of operations at Waséyabek Development Company, a 100% Tribally-owned holding company.
As a member of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi, Jimmy is passionate about the social and economic advancement of Tribal communities. At GLI, he is tasked with overseeing operations, and helping the organization build and manage its growing investment portfolio. In his role, Jimmy directly supports GLI’s mission of helping secure the economic future of members of the Gun Lake Tribe, through a philosophy of prioritizing and investing in people first.
Jimmy received his bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University, his Master of Jurisprudence in business and corporate law at Loyola University Chicago, and his MBA at Grand Valley State University. He is currently enrolled in the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law studying business law.
Jimmy and his wife Kristen grew up in the White Lake area, where they now live with their three children – twins, Isaac and Allison, and Ashley. The family has two dogs, Einstein and Edison, whose names do not match their intellect. In his spare time (if he has any), Jimmy enjoys working on cars, golfing, and spending time on Michigan’s beautiful lakes.
