Troland “Troy” Clay is the President and CEO of Mno-Bmadsen, the investment enterprise of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi; and a citizen of the tribe. As CEO of the Mno-Bmadsen Family of Companies, Troy oversees the performance and management of: Seven Generations Architecture & Engineering, WBK Engineering, D. A. Dodd, Accu-Mold, Seven Generations Construction, Mno-DREK, and the Bent Tree Market,; and leads the review and approvals of acquisitions and investments by the Mno-Bmadsen board of directors.
Troy is the associate pastor, adult Bible teacher, missions director and treasurer at New Day Church in his hometown of Watervliet, Michigan. He is a United States Navy veteran and holds a master’s degree in public administration from Western Michigan University. Troy also currently serves on: the Southwest Michigan First Board of Directors; the Southwest Michigan Economic Growth Alliance Board of Directors and its operating committee; the Cass County Economic Development Corporation as chairman; and Chi Ishobak – a community development financial institution, as chairman.
Troy served in the elected office of tribal treasurer before becoming Mno-Bmadsen’s CEO. As treasurer, he chaired the tribe’s finance board and was treasurer of the Four Winds Casino Resort gaming authority (board of directors). Prior appointed service with the Pokagon Band includes chairman of the family welfare commission, secretary of the election commission, and member of the enrollment committee.
