Marcella McCullough is Sr. Manager of Supplier Diversity, Purchasing Strategy for Nissan North America, Inc. In this role, she is responsible for developing supplier diversity strategies and processes of performance key indicators internally and externally as well as assuring appropriate Company presence at the national and regional diverse business association meetings and conferences. Marcella is committed to developing an increasingly robust supplier diversity program that will create economic opportunities for diverse supplier enterprises within Nissan.
An experienced professional, Marcella developed her business acumen through a diverse array of purchasing, product sales and supplier diversity development in the automotive and telecommunications industries. Her career path was marked by positions of increasing responsibility at Nortel, GM’s Saturn division, Delphi and Ford Motor Company.
Among her professional attributes are a pressing drive to get the job done, maintaining a strong network of supplier relationships and building confidence by promoting trust. She also coaches diverse businesses that need capacity building in utilizing strategies like teaming, strategic alliances and joint ventures. Marcella’s motto is “keep your commitment.”
Marcella holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and a Masters of Arts Degree in Organization Management from Trevecca Nazarene University. Currently, she is a board member on the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council and the Southern Region Minority Supplier Development Council. Her favorite pastime is spending quality time with her family in Nashville, Tennessee, and Dallas, Texas.
