Lottie A. Holland
Director, MOPAR Purchasing & Supplier Operations
As a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Packaging Engineering, Lottie Holland began her career in the Automotive Industry the same year, earning a position as Senior Project Management Analyst at Ford Motor Company. During this time, she was able to gain technical skills as well as expertise in program management and leadership. In an effort to further advance her education, Lottie obtained a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Management from Wayne State University in 2006.
Since then, Lottie has been engaged in the process of developing her management skills further, utilizing them in the improvement of businesses ranging from Mayfield Gentry Realty Advisors to Project L.I.V.E. Housing and Urban Development Agency. In each of these positions she took on the role of Director of Project Management, working with assets in excess of $750,000 for the purpose of budgeting, financial functions, the development and implementation of new programs and the monitoring of existing programs.
In 2011, Lottie joined Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, LLC as a Program Manager in Powertrain Engineering. This required the review and consideration of prototype and engineering, research and development costs. Later that year, she was appointed as Program Manager of Supplier Diversity within the Purchasing and Supplier Quality Organization. In this role, Lottie was responsible for creating diversity sourcing targets. As a direct result of her success, she was able to reach overachievement of the Tier I spending goal by $156 million and the Tier II spending goal by $580 million.
In 2013, she was promoted within the company to Manager, Head of Product Development Purchasing. In this role she was responsible for program managers and the oversight of the timing, variable and investment costs and quality for approximately seven vehicles in the Fiat Chrysler product lineup. She also led a team of approximately 25 individuals responsible for increasing vehicle capacity. This effort resulted in the implementation of 20 new process improvement actions, 260,000 incremental units produced and an increase in revenue of $600 million in 2015.
In 2016, Lottie became the Manager, Head of Exterior Vision Purchasing, leading a team of buyers in the procurement of Head Lamps, Tail Lamps, Vehicle Glass and Wiper Systems equating to an annual purchase value of $1.5 billion. Through her leadership, her team identified more than $40 million in cost savings. Lottie was honored in Crain’s Detroit Top 40 under 40 Class of 2016.
In 2017, Lottie was promoted to Senior Manager, Head of Supplier Diversity & Communications. Currently, Mrs. Holland is the Head of Supplier Diversity & Purchasing Communications at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) where she manages the Company’s $9B Diversity Supplier Development initiative. In addition, she serves as the Co-Chair of the Fiat Chrysler African Ancestry Network. Lottie was named DiversityMBA Top 100 under 50 in 2017 and Top Champion for Diversity by Diversity Plus in 2018. In 2019, Lottie was promoted to Director of MOPAR Purchasing and Supplier Operations.
Mrs. Holland holds designations as a Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD), Certified Professional in Supply Management, Project Management Professional (PMP) and Six Sigma Green Belt.
