Over 15 years in successfully providing customized talent acquisition services to businesses. Kevin has proven to be a skilled visionary in workforce development strategies, recruitment, and diversity. He has a firm grasp of the adverse impact that globalization is having on the state of Michigan, employers and it’s workforce. As a result; he has championed and piloted strategies to assist unemployed and underemployed workers to high-growth occupations such as retraining them in occupations such as healthcare, advance manufacturing, and others. Kevin assists organizations with demand-driven talent acquisition strategies such as: providing with training services to their existing workforce, linkages with economic developers and institutions of higher learning. His workforce development strategies for organizations include developing policies and programs designed for employers to find qualified employees (human capital), retain them and continuously develop their skills by creating a work environment of lifelong learning, and institute best practices of continuous improvement.
Kevin has provided talent acquisition services to both small and large organizations such as General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Magna International, Lear, Integrated Manufacturing and Assembly, DTE Energy, Comcast, Coca Cola, Frito-Lay, and others.
Kevin earned a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Michigan University. Kevin is a Certified Business Solutions Professional, from Michigan State University’s School of Labor and Industrial Relations. Additionally, he’s a Certified Career Development Facilitator from Oakland University. His professional affiliations include The National Association of Workforce Development, Society of Human Resource Management.
Currently, Kevin took on a new role as Director of Programming at NPower Detroit since October 2019.
