Currently, there is a disconnect in the minority business community in Michigan; while young people begin to launch ventures and build businesses, many are not aware of the business opportunities that exist here in the state. A great majority of young entrepreneurs are not aware of organizations like the MMSDC that are here to assist them with connections to other dynamic businesses and resources to help their business grow.
This session serves as an introduction to the world of a minority business enterprise. (MBE). Our panelist will speak on their own experience regarding attracting corporate businesses and securing contracts. The audience will learn what life and business is like as an MBE, what corporations are looking for to conduct business with your company, and how to brand and position your business to attract big clients.
